It's the Thanksgiving Edition of the podcast! Chad Dotson and Bill Lack discuss the week's trades, signings, waivers, and rumors, and speculate on some things the Reds really need to do, like, today. Plus, a thankful Top 5 list: our favorite Reds of all time.

The Reds were unable to sign catcher Yasmani Grandal, one of their targeted free agents. So what's next? Will the Reds feel a sense of urgency to sign Didi Gregorius, or work a big trade?

Joining Chad Dotson this week to discuss just that topic, and much more, is longtime friend of the pod, Freekbass.

Check out Freekbass at his annual FunksGiving show in the Cincinnati area on November 29 at Southgate House Revival. Tell him Redleg Nation Radio sent you!

You may have noticed that the Reds haven't been to the playoffs in a while. Well, we're pretty hopeful that the Reds will be returning to the post-season in 2020. This week, Chad Dotson had to take a hastily-arranged trip out of the country -- the law is finally catching up to him! -- so we thought we could revisit a time when the Reds were new to the playoff thing, and when it was a novelty to most Reds fans.

We're talking about 2010, of course. The Reds surprised everyone that season by winning the NL Central Division. This week's podcast is our 2010 Reds playoff preview with Chad and Chris Garber. Listening to this one brought back a flood of great memories...memories of the type that we hope we'll be able to make again next October.

It's the most wonderful time of the year for Reds fans, and while that may sound like a sad statement on its face, Chad Dotson and Doug Gray are here to tell you all the reasons you should be excited for the off-season drama that is set to unfold. We talk free agents and trade targets, Top 25 Reds prospects, and even present "A Major Award." Enjoy!

Chad Dotson and Bill Lack got together again to break down everything you need to know about the upcoming off-season, the most important winter for the Cincinnati Reds in decades. We looked at various free agent options, and Chad did a deep dive on his impatience for the club to finally demonstrate a little urgency. Yes, he got off on a bit of a rant.

(Note: the episode was recorded literally minutes before the news that the Reds had picked up the option on Freddy Galvis; that portion of the conversation here remains especially relevant after that decision.)
