A holiday-themed podcast as we wait on the Reds to finalize a trade for shortstop Francisco Lindor. Chad Dotson and Jason Linden discuss Lindor, along with the remaining outfielders on the free agent market (including a very intriguing Japanese option), and a peek into Nick Senzel's future.

Plus, we end the decade with a fun twist on the Top Ten lists you'll see everywhere: we count down the Top Ten Most Underrated Cincinnati Reds of the decade.

The Reds signed another free agent this week, lefty Wade Miley. Chad Dotson and Doug Gray break down what the signing means for the Cincinnati Reds, and what comes next (if anything). The guys also discuss the available free agent options, and whether the only remaining way to "move the needle" is via trade.

Plus: we name the Reds all-decade team, with some surprising selections.

Dec 13, 2019

MLB's Winter Meetings have concluded, and the Cincinnati Reds have nothing to show for their efforts out in San Diego. How frustrated should Reds fans be over the failure to seal the deal on interested free agents? What comes next? Are there trade possibilities that make sense?

Chad Dotson and Chris Garber dive head-first into all the storylines surrounding the Winter Meetings. We also explore the number 300, in celebration of the 300th episode of the World's Most Dangerous Podcast.

Dec 7, 2019

This week's episode of the podcast dropped a couple of days early, because we couldn't wait to discuss the free agent signing of Mike Moustakas. (You should really go listen to that episode, by the way.)

Well, Chad Dotson is back with a mini episode to help tide you over until next week. It's an update on some things he and Jason discussed on the last podcast, a preview of what's to come in the Reds' near future, and a look at some trade speculation. Enjoy!

Dec 4, 2019

The Reds made a big free agent signing this week, bringing Mike Moustakas to Cincinnati to play second base. Chad Dotson and Jason Linden discuss the signing and go in-depth into what comes next for the Reds, including why Zack Wheeler makes sense and why Marcell Ozuna and/or Nick Castellanos might not. Plus: we love Jesse Winker, but should he be traded?

It's a special MOOSE edition of the podcast. Enjoy!

It's the Thanksgiving Edition of the podcast! Chad Dotson and Bill Lack discuss the week's trades, signings, waivers, and rumors, and speculate on some things the Reds really need to do, like, today. Plus, a thankful Top 5 list: our favorite Reds of all time.

The Reds were unable to sign catcher Yasmani Grandal, one of their targeted free agents. So what's next? Will the Reds feel a sense of urgency to sign Didi Gregorius, or work a big trade?

Joining Chad Dotson this week to discuss just that topic, and much more, is longtime friend of the pod, Freekbass.

Check out Freekbass at his annual FunksGiving show in the Cincinnati area on November 29 at Southgate House Revival. Tell him Redleg Nation Radio sent you!

Nov 15, 2019

You may have noticed that the Reds haven't been to the playoffs in a while. Well, we're pretty hopeful that the Reds will be returning to the post-season in 2020. This week, Chad Dotson had to take a hastily-arranged trip out of the country -- the law is finally catching up to him! -- so we thought we could revisit a time when the Reds were new to the playoff thing, and when it was a novelty to most Reds fans.

We're talking about 2010, of course. The Reds surprised everyone that season by winning the NL Central Division. This week's podcast is our 2010 Reds playoff preview with Chad and Chris Garber. Listening to this one brought back a flood of great memories...memories of the type that we hope we'll be able to make again next October.

Nov 8, 2019

It's the most wonderful time of the year for Reds fans, and while that may sound like a sad statement on its face, Chad Dotson and Doug Gray are here to tell you all the reasons you should be excited for the off-season drama that is set to unfold. We talk free agents and trade targets, Top 25 Reds prospects, and even present "A Major Award." Enjoy!

Nov 1, 2019

Chad Dotson and Bill Lack got together again to break down everything you need to know about the upcoming off-season, the most important winter for the Cincinnati Reds in decades. We looked at various free agent options, and Chad did a deep dive on his impatience for the club to finally demonstrate a little urgency. Yes, he got off on a bit of a rant.

(Note: the episode was recorded literally minutes before the news that the Reds had picked up the option on Freddy Galvis; that portion of the conversation here remains especially relevant after that decision.)

Oct 25, 2019

Chad Dotson and Chris Garber discussed Cincinnati's hiring of a new hitting coach, Alan Zinter, but then it turned into an All-Viewer Mail edition of the podcast. Plenty of discussion about the Reds' off-season plans, but the conversation veered toward obscure Reds of the past, Molly Ringwald, and my 92-year-old grandmother's Halloween costume. Enjoy!

Oct 18, 2019

Chad Dotson and Doug Gray are trying to wait patiently for the season to end and for the Reds to begin making moves. We discussed a couple of big reasons to be optimistic about Reds players in the Arizona Fall League, look at Cincinnati's newest acquisition...and continue to set up what looks to be the most interesting winter in recent memory.

Oct 11, 2019

Chad Dotson and Jason Linden were reunited for another rousing edition of the World's Most Dangerous Podcast. Today's big topic: should the Reds "mortgage the future" for one good Reds team in 2020?

We also tackled the widest variety of Viewer Mail questions we've had in a long, long time. Enjoy!

Sep 27, 2019

Chad Dotson was joined by Jason Linden for a retrospective on the brilliant career of Reds broadcaster Marty Brennaman. The bulk of the podcast, however, was a look forward to the off-season, and the moves Cincinnati needs to make in order to be a playoff contender in 2020. Plus, we discuss smuggling grapes.

Yes. Smuggling grapes.

This week's big question: Should Reds fans have confidence in the current front office to get the job done over the upcoming off-season? Chad Dotson and Bill Lack and have some thoughts on that topic. Plus, we evaluate Nick Senzel's rookie season, the brilliance of Sonny Gray, and what we should expect from Joey Votto in the future. Sure, we're all a little bummed about the way this season has turned out for our Cincinnati Reds, but is it possible that the glass is half full? Chad Dotson and Jason Linden discuss the fact that Aristides Aquino is a future MVP and Michael Lorenzen is a latter-day Babe Ruth. FACTS!

Chad Dotson and Bill Lack got together again to argue. Bill hates Players Weekend and I love fun. It's a constant battle between the unstoppable force and the immovable object, you know?
